Hong Lok House [ Boston, MA ] 2006-2014
Preservation and restoration of the facades of 3 nineteenth century commercial buildings combined into a new infill building with an 8 story addition to create a unified new building for 75 units of senior housing. New senior center and adult day health program space at ground floor. Project is designed to be built in two phases to accommodate relocation of 28 existing residents in the existing Hong Lok building. Project is within the Essex Street Historic District and requires Section 106 review and approval.
